All chains are made up of 14K gold-filled and sterling silver. Our gold jewelry is gold-filled, which means the coating is over 100x thicker than gold plated. It is composed of a solid layer of gold bonded to a base of another metal, such as brass, copper, or sterling silver. While gold-filled jewelry is typically less expensive than solid gold jewelry, it is actually more durable and, if properly cared for, it can last forever. Our silver is .925 sterling silver. It can temporarily tarnish in certain conditions, such as natural hot springs, chlorine, sulfur, bleach, and other strong chemicals. You may purchase some silver cleaning wipes to remove the tarnish or gently brush it with either toothpaste or baking soda.
Your permanent jewelry will last months to years depending on the type of chain, the products you use, and your lifestyle. Please keep in mind that while permanent jewelry is meant for everyday wear, it is still fine jewelry and not indestructible.

Yes, you can easily remove your permanent bracelet with a pair of household scissors or nail clippers at any time. However, please note, this action cannot be undone. If possible, try to cut the chain at the ring where it was welded and save your chain so we can weld it back on for you.

You may wear your jewelry through airport security with no issue. However, there are situations where the jewelry may need to be removed for a medical surgery procedure, an X-RAY, or a MRI. In this event, the jewelry can be re-welded as long as it is properly removed.

If your chain breaks, we can re-weld the same piece for a $20 fee with proof of original purchase. However, if your chain breaks or stretches in the first two weeks of your welding appointment, we will replace or re-weld the chain free of charge.
*You must have your chain* Unfortunately, we are not responsible if you lose your chain. A new chain must be purchased.
